Although the name translates to “hot spring”, the water here is not very hot. The mineral water comes from a crack in the high canyon wall and the beauty of the canyon is well worth a visit. Also take a refreshing dip in the water. Access to La Fontcalda can be difficult as it is located in a gorge in the high hills of Tarragona.
